Our philosophy

Although  founded in May 1990 Thürlings Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH has its’ roots going back to the year 1959, when Fritz Thürlings set up Maschinenfabrik Fritz Thürlings in Viersen, to manufacture counters.

In 1965 the product range was enlarged by the addition of packaging machines. This type of machine opened pre-made bags, presented them for manual or automatic filling and closed them with a clip. Over the years other closing modules were developed and in response to market requests the company developed in 1997 a packaging machine to make bottom bags from film rool-srock.

Innovation, teamwork and customer awareness are the three pillars upon which our business has been built. These three fundamentals remain the paramount objectives of our business.
